Análisis de perfil cognitivo, bienestar psicológico y habilidades sociales en personas que se dedican al teatro, en una muestra de teatristas de Panamá durante el año 2023

Resumen

Las artes suelen ser reconocidas como herramientas terapéuticas para tratar distintas alteraciones personales, emocionales y cognitivas y, por tanto, el uso es recomendado en distintas áreas de la vida profesional, laboral, educativa y hasta como un método terapéutico. Es por este motivo el objetivo de esta investigación fue analizar las implicaciones que tiene el teatro en variables emocionales, personales y cognitivas, y para ello se plantea un diseño descriptivo, cuantitativo, de corte transversal. La muestra estuvo formada por 31 personas que aceptaron participar en el estudio, personas dedicadas al teatro (n=16) y personas que no se dedican al teatro (n=15). Los resultados indicaron que no existen diferencias significativas entre las capacidades cognitivas valoradas como memoria (verbal y visual), atención, razonamiento, memoria de trabajo y velocidad de procesamiento. El perfil cognitivo de las personas teatristas indican que las puntuaciones se encuentran dentro del promedio o la media de las puntuaciones lo que significa que están dentro de los rangos de normalidad. Las habilidades sociales, la satisfacción psicológica y de empatía también se muestran por encima del promedio. Estos resultados podrían fortalecer la idea que el teatro podría beneficiar para el mantenimiento de la capacidad cognitiva y las habilidades sociales dentro de la normalidad.
